In the fall of 2000 a tornado completely destroyed the existing 15,000 sq.ft. freestanding Groceryland grocery store. Development of a replacement structure was challenged by extensive damage to utility infrastructure, and heavy damage to other structures in the community and neighborhood. Due to the nature of the project our responsibilities involved extensive meetings with local authorities in order to accelerate the rebuilding process for the benefit of the community at large.
