The development of the Yellow Springs Train Station was the culmination of more than 10 years of effort campaigning for acceptance of a bike trail for this area of Greene County, Ohio. The structure itself was a replication of the original train station building erected in the mid 19th Century, and demolished in the 1960s. At that time elements of the facade and interior were stored in various places around the Village of Yellow Springs in the hope that one day they could be reused. Remarkably these hopes were fulfilled... 40 years after the original demolition. Location: Yellow Springs, Ohio 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
