Whether we are designing a medical suite or master planning a hospital campus, our design begins with establishing the best workflow for the facility. The educational environment is constantly changing and growing. One concept we have embraced is the design of kindergarten villages. These buildings provide a stepping-stone from the child's home to the school atmosphere. We have a great deal of experience in the renovation of educational facilities to meet the demands of increasing student census and the integration of technology. How we address technology on behalf of curriculum has become one of the most critical aspects of our school design and operation solutions.

The design of public and governmental buildings requires a delicate balance between function, design and finance. Our design approach strives to provide the community the "landmark" which is desired but always keeping in mind that each facility must be inviting for people to use and be built within a stated budget.

Our golf club design portfolio ranges from private country clubs to municipal golf course facilities, from start-up facilities to renovation of existing facilities. Our design parameters have ranged from designing country club elements for public use to a facilities equipped to handle major PGA, LPGA, or Senior PGA tour events.

These programs typically focus on a specific market sector, such as working couples, single parents or active seniors. No matter which particular group we target, our guiding principle is finding the balance between the program and budget, a balance achieved by working closely with the project development team.

We have a deeply rooted history in the design and construction of health clubs. Over the last two decades we have broadened our scope to encompass public and private recreation centers as well. Our thorough understanding of fitness equipment and methods and our intimate knowledge of their operation results in extremely functional facilities, with the flexibility for equipment upgrades and interior décor changes built right in.

Our project history in this area has been almost entirely by personal referral. Past clients speak in glowing terms of our sensitivity, and our capacity to listen and respond creatively. Our residential focus is primarily on custom single-family homes. The intent of this design process is to get to know our clients so that we can provide a functional, attractive and economic design solution. Budgets are typically tracked throughout the design process in order to keep our clients abreast of the project cost.
Over the years of our practice, whether assisting in the planning and design of a small room addition, or a large multi-million dollar signature home, one particular element has always stood out, and been commented upon by our clients. Our designs have not reflected a particular "look." Rather, each home project emerges out of the wants and needs of the client and becomes a unique expression of their family's life style and needs.
